Bike & Ride

All YORK SPRINGS AUTO AUCTION buses are equipped with exterior front-end bike racks for our customers who wish to bike and ride. Each bus can accommodate 3 two-wheeled, single-seat, non-motorized bikes at no additional fee to riders. Bike to your stop, take the bus and then keep on biking! All racks are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bikers using our Bike & Ride program must be able to load their bike into the rack themselves. Drivers do not provide assistance.

Accessibility for the Disabled

YORK SPRINGS AUTO AUCTION buses comply with all of the regulations set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). All YORK SPRINGS AUTO AUCTION buses are equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts and tie-down wheelchair stations. All of our drivers are trained to provide assistance to individuals in wheelchairs and those who require help boarding the bus. We also offer low floor buses that can lower to the curb and have no stairs for individuals with disabilities, the elderly, parents with young children or those laden with parcels. Individuals using a wheelchair, scooter or walker ride free on all of our conventional routes.

SD Transpo

If you have a disability that prevents you from using YORK SPRINGS AUTO AUCTION's regular, fixed-route buses our SD Transpo service is available to provide door-to-door transportation services for all your needs. YORK SPRINGS AUTO AUCTION's SD Transpo service uses a large fleet of air-conditioned cars, vans and mini-buses for your convenience. Individuals who meet the criteria described by the ADA are eligible to use SD Transpo only if there is some part of the fixed bus route that they cannot use due to their disability. All SD Transpo riders must pay a fee of $1.50/one-way trip. Personal care attendants ride at no charge.
