- Don't wait on the curb for the bus, stay safely on the sidewalk
- Always enter the bus using the front doors
- Watch your step getting on and off the bus
- Be aware of your footing if you are standing
- Don't put your hands or head out the window
- Hold all children by the hand while boarding and navigating the bus
- Keep all bags and strollers out of the main aisle
- Do not hesitate to inform the driver of other riders acting
inappropriately
- Know where the emergency exits are located
- Lock your vehicle when you park at a Park & Ride station, and check it
before you reenter it
- Keep to well-lit areas after dark when you travel to and from bus stops
- Don't cross in front of, or behind, the bus because other motorists may
not see you
- Don't walk on the road except at designated crosswalks
